Teis is located in the heart of South Tyrol, and directly on the sunny valley slope of the Eisack Valley. This gives it many advantages. It is not far from the two towns of Brixen and Klausen. These are easily accessible by bike and enchant with a very special atmosphere, a mixture of Italian and Alpine influences and many historical eras. Other cities like Bozen, Meran, Sterzing and Bruneck are also not far by car or train!

There are many fascinating things to discover along the River Eisack. There are 5 seasons here. In autumn, the valley turns into a paradise with ripe grapes, fruits and chestnuts, which, when served together properly and traditionally, mean it's time for "Törggelen". Spring is at least as beautiful with the blooming and fragrant chestnut groves under the still snow-covered mountain peaks – not to mention winter and summer.

BRIXEN

Brixen has hip bars as well as many magnificent sights: Baroque churches and monasteries with their pastel-coloured exteriors contrast with the white tower in the center of the old town with its arcades. Bay windows line the narrow streets, with an old city wall surrounding the core. In Brixen, two rivers shake hands, as do two cultures: Italian and German. Brixen is rich in cultural events. If you're a fan of evening and nightlife, then this is the place for you. Above all, the oldest district – Stufels – with its Anreiterkeller Dekadenz venue is a cultural hub for everything: from jazz concerts to cabaret and dramaturgical experiments - a true explosion of creativity.

One of the most beautiful towns in all of Italy

KLAUSEN

This artists' city is the epitome of magic. Its winding streets and ivy-covered old stone walls awaken the true romantic in you and provide an urban feel that is very rarely found today. Classy and historic as it is, it has been the favourite haunt of many artists. The "Dürerstein" draws your attention to the fact that, in 1494, Albrecht Dürer himself once painted a view of Klausen. These town houses are home to lovely little shops on their ground floors and humbly ensnare the mountain rock on which Säben Abbey stands. You can hike up to this. Here you will truly find a wide range of monuments and views for the perfect holiday photo.
