The Villnöss Dolomites are a paradise for all mountain enthusiasts and lovers of climbing. The rough rock is wonderful for stretching metre by metre towards the sky under the warm summer sun and in the freshest mountain air. There are numerous via ferratas and two climbing gardens in the Villnöss Valley. Here we have listed four of the best and most popular options for you. You should definitely give them a try if you feel that simple hiking trails aren't enough for you, or if you've already mastered all the cycling routes. Vertical, weightless and free from giddiness

THE VILLNÖSS AERIAL ADVENTURE PARK

Ropes, bridges, gantries and slides in all levels of difficulty, as well as zip lines for the ultimate adrenaline rush! 12 parkour runs, 120 stations, and 10 zip lines await the whole family in the shade of mighty and fragrant conifers directly under the Geisler peaks. Put your courage to the test on the climbing tower, with routes of various levels of difficulty. Utmost satisfaction and fabulous views await directly under the treetops. The aerial adventure park offers a small-scale experience of what it's like to be out on the rocks.

INDOOR CLIMBING

Sometimes it rains – otherwise our beautiful South Tyrolean landscape would not be so green or offer so many delicacies. There is plenty to do on your holiday in Teis, even when the weather is bad. There is always something going on here. If you can't get enough of climbing and want the adrenaline rush even when it's raining, then the climbing halls in Brixen and Bozen are ideal. Both Vertikale and the Salewa Cube offer wonderful views of the outdoors from up high. The route setters are constantly providing new routes and climbing shoes can also be resoled!

THE BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL CLIMBING ROUTES AND VIA FERRATA

Sass Rigais

A must! At over 3,000 metres above sea level, look out over the vast landscape of South Tyrol and spot the various well-known peaks in the distance. A climbing harness is highly recommended. Walking time: approx. 8 hours. Challenging tour!

Peitlerkofel

From the Peitlerkofel, you can enjoy a wide view over Villnöss and the Gader Valley. A wonderful experience suitable even for children with some mountain experience! Walking time: approx. 6 hours. Intermediate via ferrata.

Würzjoch climbing garden

Climbing the Dolomite rocks at the foot of Peitlerkofel. A total of 50 routes with difficulty levels 4 to 8b (access 20 minutes) offer you a challenge!

Below the Geisler peaks, at the foot of the impressive Furchetta, the climb includes around 50 routes. Difficulty levels: 3 to 8a. (access 40 minutes via the Adolf-Munkel-Weg).
